greetings relatives, our album The Banality of Evil is LIVE on all streaming platforms, Bandcamp and Youtube - the title is inspired by the book of the same name, which examines how a society can tolerate atrocities such as the gradual escalation of fascism and tyranny

this album is based on our collective experience and observation of evil acts in the modern world - for example, while violence against asylum seekers is blatantly and condemn-ably wrong, everyday evil is oftentimes boring and uneventful ... oppression is carried out by normal people working desk jobs: office workers deciding who gets health coverage or who gets housing ... many of us are complicit to this violence through a mixture of ignorance, complacency and the false notion that we as a collective people do not have the power to actualize change ...social reform and revolution gets bogged down by bureaucracy as paperwork piles up and our songs tell the stories of the people affected by ordinary policies and normalized ideas
